Saratoga may be the nearly perfect package with its scenic backdrop of the coastal range, quaint Saratoga Village, beautiful neighborhoods, top schools, parks, entertainment venues, great dining, and some interesting history to boot.
My experience is that Saratoga is a wonderful place to spend part of a day or evening, but it’s also a wonderful place to call home. If you haven’t spent time in Saratoga, you’re missing out!
Ready for a spell on horseback? Saratoga has that at Garrod’s. (And you can wine taste when done!)
Love to dine out? Saratoga features some top restaurants (in and out of The Village). Or just get a glass of wine at Cinnabar downtown, or go out into the country instead. Saratoga offers lots of choices (and none of them is bad!).
If you enjoy the arts, you’ve probably heard or or perhaps visited the Montalvo Center for the Arts and also the Mountain Winery (formerly the Paul Masson Winery).
For many, Saratoga becomes home not because of the entertainment or special event things, but because of the day to day things, such as the quality of the neighborhoods, schools, parks, and easy access to commute routes. Just this week, Niche.com listed Saratoga High as #3 in the entire state (and for more than just test scores).
Learn about Saratoga neighborhoods
If you are interested in Saratoga neighborhoods, we are slowly building up articles on the Valley of Heart’s Delight blog (aka SanJoseRealEstateLosGatosHomes.com) on different residential pockets there. For example, we have one on the Parker Ranch neighborhood (on the Cupertino border). This land once belonged to “Painless Parker“, who’s worth reading about!
Additionally, I have created a map (on Google My Maps) of Saratoga neighborhoods and subdivisions. Some of them have links to articles on my VHD blog, the rest are “coming soon”. You can check it out by clicking the image above or the link above.
